Habithèque – Fairmount Water Works Museum Reface

For the Fairmount Water Works museum reface, exhibit designer Habithèque brought us in to help fabricate the new Mussel Bucket, Camera Lucida and Microscope Enclosure exhibits.

The Mussel Bucket’s plexiglass enclosure was built to the specific environmental needs of raising mussels.  The Camera Lucida Exhibit features a table top work surface that allows the viewer the ability to use the age-old “camera lucida” technique of making scaled drawings.

For the Microscope Enclosure, we utilized plexiglass attached to a locked base to protect the viewport and viewing tray from overly-inquisitive exhibit goers.
